# Apartments.com Property Units

Lease terms for a single unit key. Take unit_key from the availability rows of the property endpoint; a stale unit key returns an empty body, which is reported as an empty result. Unit keys are per-property and per-availability and expire, so there is no durable example value: harvest one from a live property call for each property you query.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `listing_key` | string | Yes | Property key. |
| `unit_key` | string | Yes | Seven-character unit key from the property availability grid (the uk field of the availability rows). No durable value exists: take it from the availability rows of the property endpoint for the same listing_key. The example value was captured live and may have gone stale. |

| 404 | Not Found | The requested listing, guide, or sitemap was not found. This response is not billable. |
| 422 | Validation Error | A required public parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Service Unavailable | The service could not obtain a complete result. This response is not billable. |
