# Apple Maps Reviews API Documentation

<p><strong>Apple Maps Reviews API Documentation</strong> Get the ratings and the review snippets of one Apple Maps place. Apple Maps has no review text of its own. It shows up to 3 review snippets that its partner Yelp shares, plus the rating sources: the Apple rating (score of 100, with Food and Drink, Atmosphere and Service scores) and the Yelp rating (score of 5). There is no paging, so only page=1 exists and page=2 returns a 422 error. A place can have no snippets: the answer then has an empty reviews list and the rating summary. Cost: 1 credit per request. A place without any rating or snippet, an unknown place and every error cost nothing.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `muid` | string | Yes | The 19 or 20 digit id of an Apple Maps place, e.g. 11249742488957856201. |
| `locale` | string | No | Language and country of the answer. One of en-US, en-GB, de-DE, fr-FR, es-ES, it-IT, ja-JP. Default: en-US. |
| `page` | integer | No | Only 1 exists: Apple Maps shows one page of up to 3 snippets. Any other value returns a 422 error. Default: 1. |

| 422 | Validation Error | A required query parameter is missing or invalid, or page is not 1. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Place Not Found | Apple Maps has no place with this id. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Service Unavailable | Apple Maps could not be reached. This response is not billable. Retry later. |
