# Bing Videos API

<p><strong>Bing Videos API documentation</strong> for developers who need Bing video search as JSON. Scrappa's <code>GET /api/bing/videos</code> endpoint returns video links with thumbnail, duration, channel, platform, view count and upload date.</p><h2>How to call the endpoint</h2><p>Send a <code>GET</code> request with a required <code>query</code> and your API key in the <code>x-api-key</code> header. Page with <code>page</code> (1-6, about 35 videos per page; pages can repeat a few videos, so de-duplicate by <code>id</code> when you merge pages). Narrow by upload age with <code>freshness</code>: <code>day</code>, <code>week</code> or <code>month</code>. Use <code>mkt</code>, <code>cc</code> and <code>setlang</code> for another market.</p><h2>Response fields</h2><p>Each video has <code>position</code>, <code>id</code>, <code>title</code>, <code>url</code>, <code>thumbnail</code>, <code>duration</code>, <code>channel</code>, <code>platform</code>, <code>views</code>, <code>posted</code> (Bing's text in the language of the market) and <code>posted_at</code> (approximate ISO time). With <code>freshness</code>, videos that are provably older are removed. Bing does not return video descriptions in this view.</p>

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | The query is missing, or page, freshness, mkt, cc or setlang failed validation. |
| 503 | Bing Temporarily Unavailable | Bing did not return usable data after the bounded retry on a second route. The request is not billed. Retry shortly. |
