# CarDekho New Car On-Road Price API Documentation

Return the on-road price of every variant of a new car in one city, with the full price breakup: ex-showroom, RTO, insurance, other charges, optional accessories, on-road price and EMI. Use the combined model slug such as tata-sierra.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `model_slug` | string | Yes | Combined brand and model slug such as tata-sierra. Sent in the path. |
| `city` | string | No | City slug. Defaults to new-delhi. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A public parameter or range is invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Not Found | CarDekho has no listing, price or result for the request. This response is not billable. |
| 422 | Unknown Filter | CarDekho did not recognise the city, make, fuel, transmission, body type, owner or seats value. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Unexpected Upstream Response | CarDekho returned an unrecognized response shape. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | The upstream service is temporarily unavailable. Please retry shortly. |
