# CarMax Vehicle Search

Search CarMax's national used-car inventory. Filter by make and model path segments, year range, mileage range, price range, sort order, and ZIP code. Returns 48 listing cards per page with stock number, VIN, price, mileage, store, rating, features, colors, transmission, engine specs, MPG, and the hero image URL. Page 1 only; deep pagination is not available.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `model` | string | No | Model filter as a path segment, e.g. camry. |
| `year` | string | No | Model year range, e.g. 2020-2022. |
| `mileage` | string | No | Mileage range in miles, e.g. 0-50000. |
| `price` | string | No | Price range in USD, e.g. 10000-20000. |
| `sort` | string | No | bestmatch, distance-asc, price-asc, price-desc, mileage-asc, mileage-desc, year-desc, year-asc, newarrival. |
| `zip` | string | No | US ZIP code for distance sorting, e.g. 10001. |
