# Carvana Search API Documentation

Search current Carvana vehicle listings with validated filters, sorting, and page pagination. A valid empty result is a successful response.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `pagination.page` | integer | No | 1-based result page. |
| `pagination.pageSize` | integer | No | Listings per page, 1 to 100. |
| `filters.makes` | array | No | Array of make objects with name, models and parentModels. |
| `filters.price` | object | No | Object with min and max USD. |
| `filters.year` | object | No | Object with min and max year. |
| `filters.mileage` | object | No | Object with min and max miles. |
| `filters.bodyStyles` | array | No | Array of slugs: suv, truck, sedan, coupe, hatchback, convertible, minivan, wagon. |
| `filters.fuelTypes` | array | No | Array of fuel types. |
| `filters.transmissions` | array | No | Array: Automatic, Manual. |
| `filters.driveTypes` | array | No | Array: 4wd, Awd, Fwd, Rwd. |
| `filters.vehicleIds` | array | No | Array of vehicle IDs for detail lookup. |
| `zip5` | string | No | 5-digit US zip code. |
| `sortBy` | string | No | Sort order. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 400 | Carvana rejected the request filters or parameters |  |
| 422 | Carvana could not accept the requested filters |  |
| 503 | The Carvana API is temporarily unavailable |  |
