# Condos.ca Autocomplete API Documentation

<p><strong>Condos.ca Autocomplete API</strong> finds cities, districts and neighbourhoods by name and tolerates typos. Each item has an <code>area_id</code> and an <code>area_type</code>. Send both to the search route. <code>sale_count</code> and <code>rent_count</code> show how many active listings the area has. A query with no match returns an empty list. Failed requests are not billed.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `limit` | integer | No | Number of areas, 1 to 50. Default 10. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |

| 422 | Validation Error | A parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | Condos.ca could not be reached. This response is not billable and is retryable. |
