# Condos.ca Buildings API Documentation

<p><strong>Condos.ca Buildings API</strong> searches active buildings by name or address text, or returns one building by <code>id</code>. Items carry address, units, floors, year built, size and price range, amenities, developers, rating, photos and listing counts. Send <code>query</code> or <code>id</code>. An unknown <code>id</code> returns 404. Failed requests are not billed.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `query` | string | No | Building name or address text, 1 to 100 characters. Required unless id is sent. Example: king. |
| `id` | integer | No | Building id from a listing or an earlier search. Required unless query is sent. |
| `limit` | integer | No | Buildings per page, 1 to 50. Default 10. |
| `page` | integer | No | One-based page number. Default 1. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Not Found | No building has this id. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | Condos.ca could not be reached. This response is not billable and is retryable. |
