# Copart Lot Search API Documentation

<p><strong>Copart Lot Search API Documentation</strong> Search public Copart salvage auction lots by free text and filters: make, model, model year range, damage code, title group, yard, odometer limit and buy it now. Each lot has the lot number, vehicle data, masked VIN, damage, title, condition, odometer with unit, current bid, estimated retail value, buy it now price, auction date (ISO 8601, UTC), yard location, thumbnail and the public lot url. Lots can be in the US or Canada: read the currency and odometer unit on each lot. Page with page and per_page (up to 100); has_more and next_page tell you when to continue. A search without hits is a successful response with an empty lots array.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `make` | string | No | Vehicle make, e.g. TOYOTA. Case does not matter. |
| `model` | string | No | Vehicle model, e.g. CIVIC. Case does not matter. |
| `year_from` | integer | No | Lowest model year, 1900 to 2100, e.g. 2018. |
| `year_to` | integer | No | Highest model year, 1900 to 2100, e.g. 2022. Must not be below year_from. |
| `damage` | string | No | Two-letter primary damage code, e.g. AO (all over). Codes: FR front end, RR rear end, SD side, AO all over, HL hail, BN burn, FD flood, BC biohazard or chemical. |
| `title_group` | string | No | One-letter title group code, e.g. C (clean title). Read the exact codes from the filters endpoint. |
| `yard` | string | No | Copart yard name, e.g. TX - DALLAS. Read the exact names from the filters endpoint. |
| `odometer_max` | integer | No | Highest odometer reading, 0 to 1000000, e.g. 25000. |
| `buy_it_now` | boolean | No | Set to true to list only lots with a buy it now price. |
| `page` | integer | No | 1-based page number. Defaults to 1. |
| `per_page` | integer | No | Lots per page, 1 to 100. Defaults to 20. |
