# Costco Product API Documentation

<p><strong>Costco Product API</strong> returns one product: title, description (text and HTML), feature list, specifications, rating, member-only flag, order limits, department and the item numbers of its variants. Each item carries its prices.</p><p>Take the <code>id</code> from the search route. Use an item number from <code>item_numbers</code> with the warehouse prices route. An id that does not exist in the chosen country returns 404. Costs 1 credit per successful request.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `id` | string | Yes | Product id from search, 4 to 12 digits. |
| `country` | string | No | us (default) or ca. Selects costco.com or costco.ca. |
| `locale` | string | No | en-US, en-CA or fr-CA. Canadian French works with country ca. Default is the English locale of the country. |
| `warehouse` | string | No | Warehouse number whose price to show (default: a main warehouse of the country). |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |

| 422 | Validation Error | A required parameter or a value is invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Not Found | The product, item or warehouse does not exist. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | Costco could not be reached after several tries. This response is not billable. Retry shortly. |
