# Dabang Autocomplete API Documentation

<p><strong>Dabang Autocomplete API Documentation</strong> Find places by their Korean name and get the ids and codes the search endpoint needs. The result has five lists: regions (code, gid, name, full name, coordinates, zoom), subways (id, name, lines, radius), universities (id, name), complexes (apartment and officetel complexes with type and address, up to 50) and sale_in_lots (pre-sale projects with status and address). Use regions[].code as region_code, subways[].id as subway_id and universities[].id as university_id in the search endpoint. Use latitude and longitude as lat and lng. Limit the lists with types. A query without matches is an empty, billable success.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `q` | string | Yes | Korean place name, 1 to 60 characters. Example: 강남. |
| `types` | string | No | Comma list of region, subway, university, complex, sale_in_lots. Default: all five. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | The query is missing or a type is not one of the five types. No upstream request is made. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Service Unavailable | Dabang could not be reached, blocked every attempt, or answered with a shape that no longer matches the documented contract (error code PARSER_DRIFT). This response is not billable. |
