# Dailymotion Search

Search Dailymotion's public video catalog with full-text queries, filters, sorting, and paginated results. Returns video id, title, view count, duration, and creation time by default. Failed requests are never charged; a valid empty result page is a successful, charged request.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `search` | string | Yes | The full-text search query (e.g. lofi). |
| `fields` | string | No | Comma-separated field allowlist (e.g. id,title,views_total,duration,created_time). Defaults to id,title,views_total,duration,created_time. |
| `page` | integer | No | 1-based page number for pagination. Defaults to 1. |
| `limit` | integer | No | Results per page (1-100). Defaults to 15. |
| `sort` | string | No | Sort order: recent, relevance, trending, visited, old, random, visited-hour, visited-today, visited-week, visited-month, live-audience, least-visited, live-airing-time, id-asc. |
| `filters` | string | No | Content filter: featured, hd, official, creative, ugc, 3d, live. |
| `channel` | string | No | Category id filter (e.g. news, music, sport). |
| `tags` | string | No | AND-comma-separated tag filter. |
| `languages` | string | No | Comma-separated ISO language codes. |
| `country` | string | No | ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code for geo-filtering. |
| `created_after` | integer | No | Unix timestamp filter for videos created after this time. |
| `created_before` | integer | No | Unix timestamp filter for videos created before this time. |
| `list` | string | No | Editorial list: what-to-watch, recommended. |
| `user` | string | No | Filter by user xid. |
