# Dice Job Search API Documentation

Search public Dice tech jobs in the US by keyword. Filter by location with radius, employment type, workplace type (remote, on-site, hybrid), posting age, easy apply and visa sponsorship. For each job the response has the id, title, company, location, employment type, workplace types, salary text, summary, publish date (ISO 8601, UTC) and the public Dice url. Page with page and limit: Dice returns at most 10000 results per search, so page multiplied by limit must be 10000 or less. A valid search without matches is a successful response with an empty jobs list.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `query` | string | Yes | Search keywords, e.g. python. Example: python. |
| `location` | string | No | City, state or ZIP code, e.g. Austin, TX. Example: Austin, TX. |
| `radius` | integer | No | Search radius around the location in miles, 1 to 200. Defaults to 30. Only used together with location. |
| `employment_type` | string | No | One or more of FULLTIME, PARTTIME, CONTRACTS, THIRD_PARTY, comma separated. Example: FULLTIME. |
| `workplace_type` | string | No | One or more of Remote, On-Site, Hybrid, comma separated. Example: Remote. |
| `posted_date` | string | No | Only jobs posted in the last day (ONE), 3 days (THREE) or 7 days (SEVEN). |
| `easy_apply` | boolean | No | Set to true to return only jobs with Dice Easy Apply. |
| `willing_to_sponsor` | boolean | No | Set to true to return only jobs whose employer is willing to sponsor a work visa. |
| `page` | integer | No | 1-based page number. Defaults to 1. |
| `limit` | integer | No | Jobs per page, 1 to 100. Defaults to 20. Page multiplied by limit must be 10000 or less. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A required query parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Invalid Source Response | Dice answered with a page or payload that no longer matches the documented contract. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Service Unavailable | The upstream service is temporarily unavailable. Please retry shortly. |
