# Edmunds Used Car TMV API Documentation

Get the Edmunds True Market Value (TMV) of a used car style, adjusted for mileage and condition: retail, private party, trade-in and auction values, national and adjusted, plus the mileage, condition and region adjustments. Prices are US dollars. A style without price guidance returns a not-billable 404.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |

| `style_id` | string | Yes | Numeric Edmunds style id, from the model years endpoint (default_style_id). Example: 402033137. |
| `zip` | string | Yes | 5-digit US ZIP code for the regional price. Example: 90210. |
| `mileage` | integer | Yes | Odometer reading in miles, 1 to 500000. Example: 30000. |
| `condition` | string | No | outstanding, clean, average or rough. Defaults to clean. |

| 422 | Validation Error | A required query parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Resource Not Found | The requested Edmunds resource does not exist. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Invalid Source Response | The upstream answered with a shape that no longer matches the documented contract. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Service Unavailable | The upstream service is temporarily unavailable. Please retry shortly. |
