# Eventbrite Places API Documentation

<p><strong>Eventbrite Places API Documentation</strong> Search places by name. Each place has the id, name, parent country or region, place type (region, locality, borough, neighbourhood), slug, coordinates, parent id and the number of upcoming events. Use the id as place_id in the search. One page of up to 50 places is returned.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A query parameter is missing, invalid or not supported by this endpoint. This response is not billable. |
| 502 | Unexpected Upstream Format | Eventbrite answered in a format this API does not understand. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | Eventbrite did not answer after several attempts. This response is not billable. |
