# Eventbrite Event Search API Documentation

<p><strong>Eventbrite Event Search API Documentation</strong> Search public Eventbrite events by free text, place id, coordinates with radius or bounding box, date preset or date range, category, subcategory, format, free or paid and price range. Each result has the id, name, summary, dates and time zone, event and ticket URLs, online and cancelled flags, tags, locations, venue with coordinates, organizer with followers and links, minimum and maximum ticket price (value in minor units, major_value, display and currency), availability, sales window, urgency signals and image. Set aggs to get facet counts. Up to 50 results per page. A search with no hits is still a successful response. The sort option selects a smaller set of events, it does not reorder the full result list.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `q` | string | No | Free search text, e.g. jazz. Empty means all events. |
| `place_id` | string | No | Eventbrite place id from the Places or Place endpoint. Example: 101748799 (Berlin). |
| `latitude` | number | No | Latitude of the search center. Needs longitude. |
| `longitude` | number | No | Longitude of the search center. Needs latitude. |
| `radius` | string | No | Radius around the center, e.g. 10km or 5mi. A bare number means kilometres. Defaults to 10km. |
| `bbox` | string | No | Four comma-separated numbers: west,south,east,north. Example: 13.0,52.4,13.6,52.6. |
| `dates` | string | No | One of current_future, today, tomorrow, this_weekend, this_week, past. Defaults to current_future. Not together with date_from or date_to. |
| `date_from` | string | No | First day, format YYYY-MM-DD. Not together with dates. |
| `date_to` | string | No | Last day, format YYYY-MM-DD. |
| `category` | string | No | Category id from the Categories endpoint, e.g. 103 (Music). |
| `subcategory` | string | No | Subcategory id from the Subcategories endpoint. |
| `format` | string | No | Format id from the Formats endpoint. |
| `price` | string | No | free or paid. Not together with price_min or price_max. |
| `price_min` | integer | No | Lowest ticket price in minor units (500 = 5.00). Needs currency. |
| `price_max` | integer | No | Highest ticket price in minor units. Needs currency. |
| `currency` | string | No | Three-letter currency code for price_min and price_max, e.g. EUR. |
| `online_only` | boolean | No | Set to true to return only online events. |
| `organizer_id` | string | No | Only events of this organizer. |
| `sort` | string | No | One of date, price, distance. It selects a smaller set of events and does not reorder the full list. |
| `page` | integer | No | Page number, starting at 1. |
| `page_size` | integer | No | Results per page, 1 to 50. Defaults to 20. |
| `aggs` | array | No | Facet counts to return: any of tags, places_borough, places_neighborhood, organizer. Repeat the parameter for several. |

## Errors

| 422 | Validation Error | A query parameter is missing, invalid or not supported by this endpoint. This response is not billable. |
| 502 | Unexpected Upstream Format | Eventbrite answered in a format this API does not understand. This response is not billable. |
