# Flightradar24 Live Flights API Documentation

<p><strong>Flightradar24 Live Flights API Documentation</strong> List live flights with position, altitude, speed, heading, vertical speed, squawk, aircraft type, registration, flight number, callsign, airline, origin and destination. Name an area with bounds (north,south,west,east) or a preset zone, or filter by airline, type, reg, callsign, flight or airport. Filters match the start of the value. Every row is checked against the area and the filters. Ground vehicles are left out unless include_ground is true. The list has no pages: limit caps it at 1500. full_count is the number of flights worldwide, not in your area. Names of airlines and airports are added when known. An empty list answers 200 and costs no credit. Cost: 1 credit per successful request.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `bounds` | string | No | Area as north,south,west,east, e.g. 52,47,5,15. West must be left of east. Send bounds, zone or a filter. |
| `bounds_order` | string | No | nswe (default) or nesw. Use nesw if your bounds are north,east,south,west. |
| `zone` | string | No | Preset area: europe, poland, germany, uk, london, ireland, spain, france, central-europe, scandinavia, italy, north-america, south-america, oceania, asia, japan, africa, atlantic, maldives, north-atlantic and more. |
| `airline` | string | No | Airline ICAO code, e.g. DLH. Matches the start of the code. |
| `type` | string | No | Aircraft type code, e.g. A359. |
| `reg` | string | No | Registration, e.g. D-AIXO. |
| `callsign` | string | No | Callsign, e.g. DLH718. An exact callsign also finds a flight on the ground. |
| `flight` | string | No | Flight number, e.g. LH718. |
| `airport` | string | No | IATA code. Returns flights that leave from or arrive at this airport. |
| `limit` | integer | No | Flights to return, 1 to 1500. Default: 100. |
| `include_ground` | boolean | No | true to add flights on the ground and ground vehicles. Default: false. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A query parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Service Unavailable | Flightradar24 could not be reached or changed its answer. This response is not billable. Retry later. |
