# Flightradar24 Search API Documentation

<p><strong>Flightradar24 Search API Documentation</strong> Search by name, code, flight number or registration. Each result has a type: airport, airline, live_flight, scheduled_flight or aircraft. Airports carry the IATA code and position. Airlines carry the ICAO code, IATA code and name. A live_flight carries the flight_id for the flight endpoint. An aircraft carries the registration and the hex code. An empty result answers 200 and costs no credit. Cost: 1 credit per successful request.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `limit` | integer | No | Results to return, 1 to 50. Default: 10. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |

| 422 | Validation Error | A query parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Service Unavailable | Flightradar24 could not be reached or changed its answer. This response is not billable. Retry later. |
