# G2 Features API Documentation

<p><strong>G2 Features API</strong> returns the feature list of one product, grouped. Each group has its <code>name</code>, the <code>feature_count</code> and the <code>features</code>. Each feature has a <code>name</code>, a <code>description</code> and <code>based_on_reviews</code>, the number of reviews G2 used to confirm the feature (<code>null</code> when G2 shows no number).</p><p>The feature page is large, so a first request can take up to 10 seconds. The result is cached for 24 hours per product, and a cached answer comes back at once. Per-feature star ratings are not part of the response. One request costs one credit. An unknown slug returns 404 and is not billed.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 404 | Not Found | The product has no feature page on G2. This response is not billable. |
| 422 | Validation Error | A parameter is missing or has an invalid value. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | G2 could not be reached or returned data that does not match the request. This response is not billable and is retryable. |
