# G2 Pricing API Documentation

<p><strong>G2 Pricing API</strong> returns the pricing editions of one product: <code>name</code>, <code>price_text</code> as G2 shows it, the numeric <code>price</code>, the <code>currency</code>, the <code>unit</code> text (users and billing), <code>contact_us</code>, the edition <code>description</code> and the included <code>features</code>. The page also gives <code>edition_count</code>, <code>starting_price</code>, <code>free_trial</code> and <code>last_updated</code> (date).</p><p>A free edition has <code>price: 0</code>. An edition that needs a quote has <code>price: null</code> and <code>contact_us: true</code>. A product without a pricing page returns 404 and is not billed. One request makes one lookup and costs one credit.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 404 | Not Found | The product has no pricing page on G2. This response is not billable. |
| 422 | Validation Error | A parameter is missing or has an invalid value. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | G2 could not be reached or returned data that does not match the request. This response is not billable and is retryable. |
