# G2 Suggest API Documentation

<p><strong>G2 Suggest API</strong> finds G2 product slugs by name. Each result has the id, uuid, slug and name. It is the cheapest way to turn a product name into the slug the Reviews and Product APIs need.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `query` | string | Yes | Product name, 2 to 100 characters. Example: slack. |
| `limit` | integer | No | Number of results, 1 to 20 (default 10). Example: 5. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A required parameter or a value is invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | G2 could not be reached or returned data that does not match the request. This response is not billable and is retryable. |
