# GetYourGuide Activity Search API Documentation

<p><strong>GetYourGuide Activity Search API Documentation</strong> Search GetYourGuide tours and activities by keyword or place: for each result the id, title, public url, location, duration text, rating, review count, price (text and number), badges and image. 24 results per page, sorted by popularity, price or rating. A search with no matches is still a successful response.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `q` | string | Yes | Search text, e.g. paris or food tour. Example: paris. |
| `page` | integer | No | 1-based page number, 24 results per page, 1 to 50. Defaults to 1. |
| `sort` | string | No | One of popularity, price_asc, price_desc, rating_desc. Defaults to popularity. |
| `location_id` | integer | No | Restrict the search to one GetYourGuide location, e.g. 16 for Paris. |
| `currency` | string | No | Three-letter currency code for prices. Defaults to EUR. |
| `language` | string | No | Language and region such as en-US. Defaults to en-US. |

| 422 | Validation Error | A required query parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Resource Not Found | The requested GetYourGuide resource does not exist. This response is not billable. |
| 502 | Unexpected Upstream Format | GetYourGuide answered in a format this API does not understand. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | GetYourGuide blocked or did not answer after several attempts. This response is not billable. |
