# Google Flights Deals

<p>Get the flight deals Google Flights shows for one departure city: destination, price, typical price, discount, dates, airline and stops. One request returns up to 30 deals.</p><h3>What You Get</h3><ul><li><strong>Destination</strong> with city, country, airport code, kgmid, image and a short description</li><li><strong>Price and typical price</strong> with the discount in percent</li><li><strong>Dates and trip length</strong> chosen by Google, with a link to the matching Google Flights search</li><li><strong>Airline and stops</strong> with duration in minutes</li></ul><h3>Good to Know</h3><ul><li>Google picks the dates itself (a window of about four months). You cannot set dates.</li><li><code>arrival_area</code> keeps only deals whose country, city, airport code or kgmid matches. It filters the returned deals. When nothing matches, <code>deals</code> is empty. Other deals are never returned.</li><li>For a city with several airports, send the city kgmid as <code>departure_id</code>.</li><li>Use <a href="/docs/google-travel-explore-api/google_travel_explore_search">Explore Destinations</a> to browse the whole destination map.</li><li>Cost: 1 credit per successful request. Failed requests are not billed.</li></ul>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | departure_id is required and must be a 3-letter IATA code or a place kgmid. travel_class, currency, gl and hl must be valid when provided. |
| 503 | Google Flights Deals Temporarily Unavailable | The upstream lookup failed on every try. The request is not billed. |
