# Google Local Search

Search Google Local (tbm=lcl) for local businesses, shops, and services. Returns business name, rating, review count, price level, type, address, phone, hours, description, website, and thumbnail. Pagination via `start` (step 20). Failed requests are never charged; a valid empty result page is a successful, charged request.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `hl` | string | Yes | 2-letter interface language code (e.g. en, de) |
| `gl` | string | Yes | 2-letter country code (e.g. us, de) |
| `location` | string | No | City-level location (e.g. Austin, Texas). Best-effort; exit-IP geolocation may override. |
| `start` | integer | No | Pagination offset (step 20). Page 1 = 0 or absent, page 2 = 20, page 3 = 40. |
| `google_domain` | string | No | Google host (e.g. www.google.com, www.google.de) |
