# Google Play Top Charts

<p>Top free, top paid and top grossing Google Play charts for apps and games by category and country. Up to 200 apps per call with rank, rating, price, installs, content rating and media. 1 credit per request.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `chart` | string | No | Chart type: top_free (default), top_paid or top_grossing. The paid chart can hold fewer apps than num outside the US and India. The real count is returned in result_count. |
| `category` | string | No | Store category id. Default APPLICATION (all apps). GAME and the GAME_ ids list games. Allowed: APPLICATION, ART_AND_DESIGN, AUTO_AND_VEHICLES, BEAUTY, BOOKS_AND_REFERENCE, BUSINESS, COMICS, COMMUNICATION, DATING, EDUCATION, ENTERTAINMENT, EVENTS, FINANCE, FOOD_AND_DRINK, HEALTH_AND_FITNESS, HOUSE_AND_HOME, LIBRARIES_AND_DEMO, LIFESTYLE, MAPS_AND_NAVIGATION, MEDICAL, MUSIC_AND_AUDIO, NEWS_AND_MAGAZINES, PARENTING, PERSONALIZATION, PHOTOGRAPHY, PRODUCTIVITY, SHOPPING, SOCIAL, SPORTS, TOOLS, TRAVEL_AND_LOCAL, VIDEO_PLAYERS, WATCH_FACE, WEATHER, FAMILY, GAME, GAME_ACTION, GAME_ADVENTURE, GAME_ARCADE, GAME_BOARD, GAME_CARD, GAME_CASINO, GAME_CASUAL, GAME_EDUCATIONAL, GAME_MUSIC, GAME_PUZZLE, GAME_RACING, GAME_ROLE_PLAYING, GAME_SIMULATION, GAME_SPORTS, GAME_STRATEGY, GAME_TRIVIA, GAME_WORD. |
| `num` | integer | No | Number of apps to return, 1 to 200. Default: 50. Values outside the range return 422. |
| `hl` | string | No | Interface language code, for example en or de. Default: en. |
| `gl` | string | No | Storefront country: US, GB, DE, FR, JP, BR or IN. Default: US. Other countries return 422. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A parameter failed validation, for example an unknown category, a num outside 1 to 200 or an unsupported country. |
| 503 | Google Play Upstream Unavailable | Google Play could not be fetched. The request is not billed. |
