# Google Play Search

Search the public Google Play store and return the result cards with product id, title, store link, rating, price, thumbnail and, for apps, developer, category and install count.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `q` | string | Yes | Search terms, for example chess. The upstream page renders the results it finds for the query. |
| `store` | string | No | Store vertical: apps (default), games, movies or books. The apps store covers all application results, games included. |
| `hl` | string | No | Interface language code (e.g. en, de). |
| `gl` | string | No | Country code for the storefront (2 letters, e.g. us, de). German with de changes prices to EUR. |
| `price` | integer | No | Price facet: 1 for free results, 2 for paid results. Not available on the games vertical. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | The q, store, hl, gl or price parameter failed validation. |
| 503 | Google Play Upstream Unavailable | The upstream service is temporarily unavailable. Please retry shortly. |
