# Google Related Questions API

Fetch the People Also Ask (related questions) block of a Google Search result as structured JSON. Each question carries its answer snippet, source link and an opaque next_page_token. Pass that token back to the endpoint to expand the question further: the response returns the next batch of related questions for that question, each with a fresh token for recursive expansion. A failed or blocked request returns an unbilled 503; a valid empty result is billed.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `q` | string | Yes | Search query, e.g. "how does espresso work". Required when no next_page_token is given. |
| `next_page_token` | string | No | Opaque next_page_token from a previous response. Expands that question further. Takes precedence over q when both are given. |
| `hl` | string | No | Interface language code (2 letters, e.g. en, de) |
| `gl` | string | No | Country code (2 letters, e.g. us, de) |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | One or more query parameters failed validation. |
| 503 | Related Questions Unavailable | Google Related Questions is temporarily unable to return a valid result page, or the next_page_token is invalid or expired. The request is not billed; retry it after a short delay or re-fetch by query for a fresh token. |
