# heycar Listing Detail API Documentation

Retrieve one car listing from heycar, now Drive (drive.co.uk), by its numeric id or heycar_id slug: everything from search plus VIN, description, equipment by category, performance figures, drive train, insurance group, fuel consumption in mpg, all images and the full dealer with address, phone and opening times. Send either id or heycar_id. An unknown or sold listing returns 404 NOT_FOUND and is not billed. UK stock only (GBP).

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `id` | string | No | Numeric listing id. Example: 16570982. Send either id or heycar_id. |
| `heycar_id` | string | No | Listing slug from the search heycar_id field. Send either id or heycar_id. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A query parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Resource Not Found | The requested heycar resource does not exist. This response is not billable. |
| 502 | Invalid Source Response | The upstream answered with a shape that no longer matches the documented contract. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Service Unavailable | The upstream service is temporarily unavailable. Please retry shortly. |
