# H&M Article Lookup API Documentation

<p><strong>H&amp;M Article Lookup API</strong> returns one article (one colour of a product) by its 10 digit article id or its product url: name, price, original price, sale price and discount, colours with images, sizes with availability (in_stock or out_of_stock), availability and images. Use the <code>article_id</code> of a search answer.</p><p><strong>Limits:</strong> the H&amp;M product page is not reachable, so this route finds the article in the H&amp;M search. It has no composition, description, reviews or store stock, and the sizes carry the online availability only. An article that H&amp;M does not list in the locale returns 404. A successful request costs 1 credit. Failed requests are not billable.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 404 | Not Found | H&M does not list the article in the chosen locale. This response is not billable. |
| 422 | Validation Error | A parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | H&M could not be reached, or it returned data that does not match the request (another page, another sort, a filter that was not applied). This response is not billable and is retryable. |
