# HolidayCheck Hotel Detail API Documentation

<p><strong>HolidayCheck Hotel Detail API Documentation</strong> Get one HolidayCheck hotel: name, public page url, website, stars, address, phone, coordinates, parent places, closed flag and the hotel description as plain text. Ratings use the 1 to 6 HolidayCheck scale. The response has the overall rating, recommendation_rate as a share between 0 and 1 (0.765 means 76.5 percent), review_count and the rating per category (HOTEL, ROOM, FOOD, SERVICE, LOCATION, SPORT) with the number of reviews behind each category. An unknown hotel id returns 404.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

| 404 | Hotel Not Found | The requested HolidayCheck hotel does not exist. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Service Unavailable | HolidayCheck could not be reached or answered in an unexpected format. This response is not billable. |
