# Indeed Company Search API Documentation

<p><strong>Indeed Company Search API</strong> finds companies by name. Each company has <code>name</code>, <code>slug</code>, <code>url</code>, <code>logo</code>, <code>rating</code>, <code>review_count</code>, <code>sectors</code> and <code>description</code>.</p><p>Use the <code>slug</code> as <code>company</code> in the profile, reviews, salaries and jobs routes.</p><p>Costs 1 credit per successful request. Failed and empty requests are free. Scrappa is not affiliated with or endorsed by Indeed.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |

| `q` | string | Yes | Company name to search, 2 to 100 characters, for example amazon. |
| `country` | string | No | US (default), GB (UK works as an alias) or DE. Any other value returns 422. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A required parameter or a value is invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | Indeed could not be reached after several tries, or its answer could not be read (code PARSER_DRIFT). This response is not billable. Retry shortly. |
