# Kavak Search

Search the used car catalogue of Kavak in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, the UAE and Turkey. Every request needs a market code; unknown or unsupported codes are rejected with a 422 and are not billed, so you never get another country's cars. Filter by make, model, year, price range, km range, body type, location, transmission, fuel type, colour, drivetrain, seats, availability and keyword, and sort by relevance, price, age or km. Use the taxonomy endpoint for valid make, model, location and filter values: an unknown make, model, region or location is rejected with a 422. A model needs a valid make or must belong to some make. The region filter works in Mexico only; use location in Brazil, Argentina and Chile. The UAE has no location filter. Turkey has no taxonomy, so make is passed as given and model is not available there. Pages hold 30 cars and start at page 1. total_results is a numeric total: Kavak publishes only a display string, so Scrappa uses it when it fits the page count and derives the total from the last page otherwise (total_results_source says which). It is null when no reliable total exists; never read a count of 0 next to a non-empty results list as a total. Cars are de-duplicated by id and promo cards are removed.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

| `model` | string | No | Model value from the taxonomy endpoint, for example sentra. Not available for Turkey. |
