# KBB Taxonomy

Return the Kelley Blue Book vehicle taxonomy: the available years, and - once a parent id is supplied - the makes for a year, the models for a make and the trims for a model. Levels below the deepest supplied id stay null, so a client can detect which parent to select next. The endpoint reads the public fdpq.syndication.kbb.com research API.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `year` | integer | No | Model year, e.g. 2020. |
| `makeId` | integer | No | KBB make id from the years response, e.g. 47 (Subaru). |
| `modelId` | integer | No | KBB model id from the makes response, e.g. 280 (Forester). |
| `vehicleListingType` | string | No | used or new. |
