# Kick Leaderboard API Documentation

Retrieve the platform-wide channel ranking by gifted subscriptions, with rank, slug, username, profile picture and live state per entry. The ranking window moves by shifting start_time. Upstream only accepts type gifted_subs. Its interval parameter is a decoy that is ignored while upstream reports its own interval, so no interval control is exposed and the window is identified by start_time rather than by a cursor.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `type` | string | No | Only gifted_subs is accepted upstream. |
| `start_time` | string | Yes | ISO-8601 timestamp with milliseconds that starts the ranking window, for example 2026-10-04T14:00:00.000Z. |
| `limit` | integer | No | Maximum entries returned, up to 100. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 404 | Not Found | The requested channel, clip, video, or subcategory does not exist. This response is not billable. |
| 422 | Validation Error | A public parameter is invalid, such as an unsupported clip sort or an empty search query. This response is not billable. |
| 502 | Invalid Source Response | Kick returned a response shape the API does not recognise. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Service Unavailable | The service could not obtain a complete result from Kick. This response is not billable. |
