# Kununu Top Companies

Get ranked top companies on Kununu including awards, score breakdowns, snippets, and review/job counts.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `country` | string | No | Country code: de (Germany), at (Austria), ch (Switzerland). Default: de |
| `year` | integer | No | Top-company award year (e.g. 2026). Omit for the current ranking. |
| `page` | integer | No | Page number for pagination (default: 1) |
| `sort` | string | No | Sort order: "number-reviews-desc" |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 401 | Unauthorized | API key is missing or invalid |
| 422 | Validation Error | A required parameter is missing or invalid |
| 503 | Blocked By Kununu | Kununu returned anti-bot protection. This response is retryable and is not billed. |
| 500 | Internal Server Error | Service temporarily unavailable or unexpected error occurred. This response is not billed. |
