# LandSearch Profiles API Documentation

<p><strong>LandSearch Profiles API</strong> searches agents, lenders and land service providers by type, location slug and name keywords, with the real total and page count. Each item carries the profile id for the profile routes. Failed requests are not billed.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `type` | string | No | agent, lender or service. |
| `location` | string | No | Location slug from the autocomplete route. |
| `keywords` | string | No | Name or brokerage text. |
| `sort` | string | No | -promoted, -newest or newest. |
| `page` | integer | No | One-based page number. The site reports at most 100 pages per query; a page past the last returns an empty list. |
| `limit` | integer | No | Results per page, 1 to 100. Default 50. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 422 | Unknown Location | The location slug is unknown. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | LandSearch could not be reached. Retry shortly. This response is not billable. |
