# LandSearch Search API Documentation

LandSearch Search API returns US land listings for sale, lease and auction. Pick a place with the autocomplete route and pass its slug as location, then filter by format, price, acreage, price per acre, building, bedrooms, bathrooms, building size, tag, type and status. Each item carries the price in USD, acreage, address parts, coordinates, building facts, photo links, image counts and the listing source. A lease item carries lease_period; the price is per period. An auction price is the minimum bid. pagination holds the real total and page count. Every item satisfies the filters you sent. An unknown location answers 422. Failed requests are not billed.

Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key. ## Parameters | Parameter | Type | Required | Description | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | `location` | string | No | Location slug from the autocomplete route, for example texas, travis-county-tx or austin-tx. Without it the search covers the whole US. | | `format` | string | No | sale, lease or auction. Without it all formats are returned. | | `type` | string | No | Site category: residential, commercial, agricultural or recreational. The category is computed by the site and is not the same as the listing attribute Type. | | `tag` | string | No | One feature tag slug, for example hunting, lakefront, cabin, water-well, fenced or off-grid. | | `status` | string | No | pending lists only pending listings. | | `keywords` | string | No | Free text such as an MLS id, pool or utilities. | | `structure` | boolean | No | true for land with a building, false for vacant land. | | `price_min` | integer | No | Minimum price in USD. For a lease the price is per lease period. | | `price_max` | integer | No | Maximum price in USD. | | `size_min` | number | No | Minimum size in acres. | | `size_max` | number | No | Maximum size in acres. | | `ppa_min` | integer | No | Minimum price per acre in USD. | | `ppa_max` | integer | No | Maximum price per acre in USD. | | `bedrooms_min` | integer | No | Minimum bedrooms. | | `bedrooms_max` | integer | No | Maximum bedrooms. | | `bathrooms_min` | integer | No | Minimum bathrooms. | | `space_min` | integer | No | Minimum building size in square feet. | | `space_max` | integer | No | Maximum building size in square feet. | | `sort` | string | No | -promoted, -newest, -price, price, -size, size or -updated. A leading minus means descending. | | `page` | integer | No | One-based page number. The site reports at most 100 pages per query; a page past the last returns an empty list. | | `limit` | integer | No | Results per page, 1 to 100.
