# LandWatch Agents API Documentation

<p><strong>LandWatch Agents API</strong> finds land agents and brokers by name or by the area they serve (state, county or city), 24 agents per page. Each agent has a profile with public phone numbers, address, logo and listing statistics. A county or city that LandWatch does not know answers 404 and is not billed. Send either <code>name</code> or <code>state</code>.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `name` | string | No | Agent or company name. Use it instead of state. |
| `state` | string | No | US state name or 2-letter code. Lists the agents who serve the state. |
| `county` | string | No | County name within the state. Not together with city. |
| `city` | string | No | City name within the state. Not together with county. Use the agent-autocomplete route for valid places. |
| `page` | integer | No | One-based page number, 1 to 100. Default 1. 24 agents per page. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Not Found | The place, listing or agent does not exist. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | LandWatch could not be reached, or it answered with data that does not match the request. This response is not billable and is retryable. |
