# Letterboxd User Diary API Documentation

Retrieve the first page of public diary entries for a Letterboxd user. Each entry carries the film slug. A valid empty result (user with no diary entries) is a successful response.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |

| `user` | string | Yes | Letterboxd username. Example: theadams. |
| `page` | integer | No | 1-based page number. Defaults to 1. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | The user parameter is missing or not a valid username. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | User Not Found | The requested Letterboxd user was not found. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | The Letterboxd API is temporarily unavailable. This response is not billable. |
