# Letterboxd Film Detail API Documentation

Retrieve the public detail of a Letterboxd film: title, year, directors, average rating, poster URL, film ID, rating histogram, watched count, lists count and likes count. A valid film with zero ratings is still a successful response.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | The slug parameter is missing or not a valid film slug. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Film Not Found | The requested Letterboxd film was not found. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | The Letterboxd API is temporarily unavailable. This response is not billable. |
