# Letterboxd Film Reviews API Documentation

Retrieve public reviews for a Letterboxd film from the film page. Each review carries the text as plain text and the author username. Only the first page of reviews is available (inline reviews on the film page).

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |

| `slug` | string | Yes | Letterboxd film slug. Example: the-dark-knight. |
| `page` | integer | No | 1-based page number. Only page 1 is supported. Defaults to 1. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | The slug parameter is missing or not a valid film slug. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Film Not Found | The requested Letterboxd film was not found. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | The Letterboxd API is temporarily unavailable. This response is not billable. |
