# LLM Answers Models API Documentation

Read the current model catalog from the live service, never from a fixed list. engine=chatgpt (default) returns model ids with title, description, token limit and capabilities, plus the default model. engine=perplexity returns every model id with label, provider and mode, plus the default model per mode. Use an id as the model parameter of the answer endpoint.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `engine` | string | No | chatgpt (default) or perplexity. |
