# Mastodon Statuses API Documentation

Read the public posting history of a Mastodon account with cursor-based pagination. Returns an array of status objects including content, visibility, language, counts, media attachments, tags, and the embedded account. Use max_id or min_id from the Link header for pagination. A valid empty array is a successful response.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `instance` | string | No | Public Mastodon hostname. Defaults to mastodon.social. |
| `id` | string | Yes | Account ID from a profile lookup. Example: 1. |
| `limit` | integer | No | Statuses per page, 1 to 40. Defaults to 20. |
| `max_id` | string | No | Cursor: return statuses older than this ID. |
| `min_id` | string | No | Cursor: return statuses newer than this ID. |
| `exclude_replies` | boolean | No | Filter out replies. |
| `exclude_reblogs` | boolean | No | Filter out boosts. |
| `only_media` | boolean | No | Only statuses with media attachments. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A public parameter or range is invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 502 | Invalid Source Response | Mastodon returned an unexpected response. This response is not billable. |
