# Movoto Amenity Tags API Documentation

<p><strong>Movoto Amenity Tags API</strong> suggests the amenity and feature tags Movoto knows for a search text, such as pool, waterfront or hardwood floors. Each tag has an id and a display name. A text with no match returns an empty list. Failed requests are not billed.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `query` | string | Yes | Search text, 2 to 60 characters. Example: pool. |
| `postal_code` | string | No | Optional 5 digit ZIP code to rank tags for an area. Example: 78701. |
| `limit` | integer | No | Number of tags, 1 to 20 (default 10). |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A required parameter is missing or invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | Movoto could not be reached or returned data that does not match the request. This response is not billable and is retryable. |
