# Movoto Search API Documentation
Movoto Search API returns US homes for sale or for rent as JSON, 50 per page. Pass a location such as Austin, TX, 78701, TX or a value from the autocomplete route. Filter by price, bedrooms, bathrooms and property type, and page through the results. Every item has the price, address with coordinates, beds, baths, size, lot, year built, HOA fee, property type, status, days on market, photos, the listing agent and office, and the page URL. Item path works in the listing route.
Filters are never ignored. Items that break a requested filter are not returned and are counted in pagination.filtered_out. A page is never labelled as another page. A page past the last one returns an empty list. An unknown location returns a 404 error.
Not offered. Sorting and living-area filters are not available, because Movoto ignored every form that was tested. Rental items link to the third-party rental page in source_url. Responses carry the MLS notices in notices: show them where you display the listings. Failed requests are not billed.

## Authentication
Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.
## Parameters

| `min_price` | integer | No | Minimum price in USD (rent: per month). |
| `max_price` | integer | No | Maximum price in USD. |
| `min_beds` | integer | No | Minimum bedrooms. |
| `max_beds` | integer | No | Maximum bedrooms, 1 or more. |
| `min_baths` | integer | No | Minimum bathrooms. |
| `max_baths` | integer | No | Maximum bathrooms, 1 or more. |
| `page` | integer | No | One-based page number, 1 to 200 (default 1). |

## Errors
| Status | Error | Description |

| 422 | Validation Error | A required parameter or a range is invalid. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Not Found | The location was not found. Use the autocomplete route. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | Movoto could not be reached or returned data that does not match the request. This response is not billable and is retryable. |
