# North Data Search

Search the North Data register index by company or person name. Each page holds up to 15 hits and the free depth is 45 hits (offsets 0, 15 and 30). A page past the depth returns an empty list and stays billable. Use the uri of a hit with the company or person endpoint. Scrappa reads public data of the free North Data site. It is not the official North Data API.

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `query` | string | Yes | Company or person name, 2 to 200 characters. |
| `offset` | integer | No | Hit offset: 0, 15 or 30. Offset 45 and above returns an empty list. |
