# Point2 Homes Rental Search API Documentation

<p><strong>Point2 Homes Rental Search API</strong> returns rental listings for one city. Point2 Homes lists rentals only, so every item has <code>listing_type</code> "rent" and the price is per month in CAD or USD.</p><p>Results are building level: one card can hold several units. A card is returned when at least one of its units can match your bedroom, bathroom, price or area filter. A card that does not state the filtered value is left out, and <code>filtered_out</code> tells you how many cards were dropped. A page past the last page returns an empty <code>items</code> list with the page you asked for.</p><p>Sale search and agent profiles are not available, because Point2 Homes no longer serves them.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `city` | string | Yes | City name, as returned by the autocomplete endpoint. Example: Vancouver. |
| `bedrooms` | string | No | Comma separated bedroom counts: 0 (studio), 1, 2, 3 or 4 (4 and up). |
| `bathrooms` | string | No | Comma separated bathroom counts: 1, 2, 3 or 4 (4 and up). |
| `property_type` | string | No | Comma separated: house, townhouse, duplex_triplex, mobile_home, apartment, condo, other. |
| `pet_policy` | string | No | Comma separated: pet_friendly, no_pets, cats, dogs. |
| `amenities` | string | No | Comma separated, all required: air_conditioning, dishwasher, fireplace, furnished, large_closets, patio_balcony, in_unit_laundry, laundry_hookup, wheelchair_access, gated_access, covered_parking, garage, high_speed_internet, shared_laundry, pool, fitness_center. |
| `price_min` | integer | No | Minimum monthly rent. |
| `price_max` | integer | No | Maximum monthly rent. |
| `square_feet_min` | integer | No | Minimum area in square feet. |
| `square_feet_max` | integer | No | Maximum area in square feet. |
| `available_now` | boolean | No | true to return rentals that are available now. |
| `sort` | string | No | relevance (default), price_asc or price_desc. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |

| 422 | Validation Error | A parameter is missing or outside its allowed values. This response is not billable. |
| 503 | Upstream Unavailable | Point2 Homes could not be reached, or returned a page that does not match the expected shape. Retry shortly. This response is not billable. |
| 404 | Not Found | The location was not found on Point2 Homes. This response is not billable. |
