# Redfin Similar Homes

<p>Get the homes Redfin shows as similar to a property. Use type=listings (default) for similar homes for sale or type=solds for similar homes that sold recently. Each row is a full listing with price, beds, baths, size, lot, year built, status, location, brokers and sold date for sold homes. Up to about 18 homes are returned. The data is US only.</p><p><strong>Cost:</strong> 1 credit per successful request. Failed requests are not charged.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Errors

| 400 | Invalid characters in parameter | The request contains null bytes or unsupported control characters. |
| 422 | The request validation failed | One or more Redfin request parameters failed validation. |
| 404 | Property not found | Property not found |
| 500 | Failed to fetch data from Redfin after multiple attempts. | The upstream service is temporarily unavailable. Please retry shortly. |
