# Rentalcars Brand API Documentation

<p>Get the data of a brand page, such as Sixt: title, description and rating. An unknown brand returns 404 and is not billed. Scrappa is not affiliated with Rentalcars.com. This is an unofficial API.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `brand` | string | Yes | Brand slug in lowercase. Example: sixt. |
| `locale` | string | No | Language of the page. Default: en. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A parameter is missing or invalid. No request is made upstream. Not billed. |
| 404 | Brand Not Found | Rentalcars has no page for this brand slug. Not billed. |
| 503 | Rentalcars Temporarily Unavailable | Rentalcars did not answer in time. Retry after a short pause. Other 503 codes start with rentalcars_ too, for example rentalcars_invalid_response. Not billed. |
