# Rentalcars Destination API Documentation

<p>Get the place data of a destination: country, region, city, district and airport with names and codes. Scrappa is not affiliated with Rentalcars.com. This is an unofficial API.</p>

## Authentication

Send your Scrappa API key in the `X-API-KEY` request header. Paid endpoints also support accountless x402 payments when called without an API key.

## Parameters

| `destination` | string | Yes | Destination path in the form /cars/{city\|airport\|country\|district\|region}/{cc}/{slug}. Example: /cars/city/gb/london. |

## Errors

| Status | Error | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 422 | Validation Error | A parameter is missing or invalid. No request is made upstream. Not billed. |
| 503 | Rentalcars Temporarily Unavailable | Rentalcars did not answer in time. Retry after a short pause. Other 503 codes start with rentalcars_ too, for example rentalcars_invalid_response. Not billed. |
